Draft Profile Kenneth Walker III by J.T.

Draft Profile

Kenneth Walker III (RB)

Michigan St.

5-10 210 lbs

Jr.

Background

Kenneth attended Arlington High School in Arlington, Tennessee. Walker ran for 3,485 yards and 41 touchdowns.

Kenneth committed to Wake Forest where he played two seasons with the Demon Deacons. Walker ran for 1,158 yards and 17 touchdowns, before transferring to Michigan St.

Strengths

+ Quick feet, a quick explosion to beat LB’s to the edge

+ Good vision, Elusive in open field

+ Sheds leg tackles, hits holes fast and with a purpose

Weaknesses

  1. Offers little in pass protection

  2. At times runs in a way that boxes himself in on the corner

  3. Not the fastest or most powerful, can still get better.

Overall

Kenneth Walker III has improved his stock as much as anybody in college football. Needs to improve blocking, and 3rd down receiving. If he improves, he could go late first, but my money is on the second day of draft.
