Fantasy Start’em and Sit’em by J.T.

NFL Fantasy Week 8

Can you believe we are in week 8 of the NFL season already? You are starting to get an idea if your team has a chance or if it is another lost season. If you are in a one-year draft league trades and moves can be trying as there is nothing to build toward. If you are in a continual league and protect players this is around the time you need to start deciding if it is worth selling off some veteran players to try and get younger. Do you take a chance on a Trey Lance? Definitely the type of decisions that need to be made before your leagues trade deadline.

Start em

Carson Wentz-QB-Indianapolis- Carson Wentz has been a solid surprise all season long. Much was made of the Goff/Stafford deal, but Wentz has made a huge impact on the Colts offense. The Titans though on a winning streak, have allowed the 5th most fantasy passing yards.

Aaron Jones-RB-Green Bay- Much will be made of the Kyler Murray and Aaron Rodgers matchup Thursday night, but don’t be surprised to see some nice numbers from both Aaron Jones of Green Bay and James Conner of Arizona.

Odell Beckham,Jr.- Cleveland- This is a total feeling I got and not much else. It has been 7 games since Beckham has scored a touchdown, and I am a Steelers fan and we have a way of being on hand when streaks break.

Sit Em

Tua Tagovailoa-QB-Miami- Tua has played well the past couple of weeks, good enough to be a starter on some teams during a QB1 bye week. But this is Buffalo week so remember to put him back on the bench. Thank me later.

Alvin Kamara-RB-New Orleans- Tampa Bay has only given up 67 yards a game on the ground this season. Part of that is Tampa Bay is always ahead so teams are passing more. If you have another option on your bench this may be a good week to give Kamara a week off. Winston will put up large numbers being behind.

Allen Robinson-WR-Chicago- Allen Robinson owners are feeling the Justin Fields growing pains as well. Depending on your team look for a different answer at WR or FLEX this week.
