It is that time of the week when Draft 412 summarizes the past seven days of worthy news nuggets that you may have missed. Let us catch you up here:


Penguins Make Changes to Broadcast Teams


The Pittsburgh Penguins made several changes in the broadcast booth for the coming season. Steve Mears, the former TV play-by-play analyst for the Pens will move to the radio play-by-play side and team up with analyst Phil Bourque.


On the TV side, former radio play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff will move to TV and be teamed up with a rotation of Phil Bourque, Colby Armstrong and Mike Rupp.


Dan Potash will move from the TV rink reporter to studio host for the pre-game show. Hailey Hunter, the daughter of former Penguins winger Tim Hrynewich will become the rinkside reporter.


Steelers End 49ers Streak


Last season, the 49ers held an impressive streak—opponents were 0-15 in games the following week after facing San Francisco. The Pittsburgh Steelers ended the streak with their Monday night victory over the Cleveland Browns after losing to San Francisco 30-7 in week 1.


8 Pirates to Play in Fall League


The Pittsburgh Pirates organization announced that 8 players will participate in the upcoming Arizona Fall League. Here is a look at the players and how they performed this season.

Pirates Keller Gets 200 K’s


This past Wednesday against the Chicago Cubs, Mitch Keller reached 200 strikeouts on the season, the first Pirates pitcher to do so since 2015 when Francisco Liriano (205) and Gerrit Cole (202) hit that mark. Keller is only the 6th pitcher for the Pirates since 1900 to hit that mark.
