Steph’s Week 2 Bets by Stephanos Mavroides

Steph’s Bets Week 2

New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers 1:00 PM EST

This game will be interesting as the Saints are coming off a 35-point victory over Green Bay and the Panthers have a very competent team with Darnold leading them. Overall, I think the Saints defense will cause 2-3 turnovers and get the win on the road getting their first divisional win.

Steph’s Bet: Saints -3.5 Via FanDuel Sportsbook

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Chicago Bears 1:00 PM EST

The Bengals offense was explosive last week against the Vikings, but I feel the Bears defense will slow them down and run the ball effectively with David Montgomery. I’ll be taking the Bears at home to win by a touchdown.

Steph’s Bet: Bears -1.5 Via FanDuel Sportsbook

Houston Texans vs. Cleveland Browns 1:00 PM EST

The Browns started off last week’s game on fire and didn’t look bad till the end. Their secondary is much improved from last year with the additions of John Johnson and rookie Greg Newsome. The Texans on the other hand played much better than most thought, but without Deshaun Watson, a game like this isn’t winnable. I’m taking the Browns by 20.

Steph’s Bet: Browns -13.5 Via FanDuel Sportsbook

Los Angeles Rams vs. Indianapolis Colts 1:00 PM EST

The LA Rams look like a real super bowl contender this year with their defense lead by Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey, and their offense lead by newly acquired Matthew Stafford. With the addition of him their offense looked more complete last Sunday night, and very minimal mistakes. The Colts were battling injuries all summer and came into last week’s game beat up, this one will be close. I’m taking the Rams by a field goal.

Steph’s Bet: Colts to cover +3.5 Via FanDuel Sportsbook

Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins 1:00 PM EST

The Bills offense was limited last week due to the Steelers front stealing the game, Josh Allen was making some good throws but had no time. This week I think he will have more time in the pocket and throw deeper. The Miami Dolphins stole a game against New England last week and played great defense. It’s going to be a tight game, but I don’t see Buffalo starting 0-2, Buffalo by a touchdown.

Steph’s Bet: Buffalo -3.5 Via FanDuel Sportsbook

New England Patriots vs. New York Jets

If it wasn’t for Damian Harris’s late game fumble the Patriots wouldn’t have lost last week, Mac Jones looked good for his first game and the defense looks back on track. The Jets on the other hand played the Panthers tight and rookie Zach Wilson made some tough throws. I have New England winning by 10 due to their defense getting to Wilson.

Steph’s Bet: New England -6 Via FanDuel Sportsbook

San Francisco 49ers vs. Philadelphia Eagles 1:00 PM EST

The 49ers offense was hitting on all cylinders last Sunday, but they gave up at the end and gave up 30+ points to the Lions in a win. The Eagles on the other hand played a complete ball game against the Falcons and impressed throughout. I ultimately think the Eagles pull the upset at home.

Steph’s Bet: Eagles +3 Via FanDuel Sportsbook

Denver Broncos vs. Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00 PM EST

Denver looked good last Sunday against the Giants with their balanced offense, and the defense having a nice pass rush. The Jaguars on the other hand struggled against the Texans and rookie Trevor Lawrence had a meh game. I don’t see Denver giving up a lot of points to the Jaguars and I think they’ll win by at least 10.

Steph’s Bet: Broncos -5.5 Via FanDuel Sportsbook

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00 PM EST

The Raiders played in a phenomenal game last Monday night and ended up getting the upset over the Ravens. Derrick Carr targeted stud tight end Darren Waller almost every other play it seemed, and they had their way in the pass game. The Steelers played a great defensive ball game last Sunday led by TJ Watt and Cam Heyward. Their offense lacked explosion and any type of rhythm, also their O-line couldn’t keep up with the Bills pass rush. I’m picking the Steelers to win this game 24-19. Defensive ball game and the loss of Josh Jacobs for Vegas will make them one dimensional.

Steph’s Bet: Steelers money line or Under 46.5 points VIA FanDuel Sportsbook

Minnesota Vikings vs. Arizona Cardinals 4:05 PM EST

The Vikings lost a close game in overtime last week against the Bengals, they didn’t get the ball in hands of their playmakers as much as they wanted too, and their defense gave up big plays. The Cardinals absolutely played a flawless game against the Titans last week shutting down AJ Brown, Julio Jones, and Derrick Henry. Also, Chandler Jones had 5 sacks and Kyler Murray looked like an MVP candidate. I have the Cardinals winning by 2 touchdowns at home.

Steph’s Bet: Cardinals -3.5 VIA FanDuel Sportsbook

Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4:05 PM EST

The Falcons played a horrible game against the Eagles last week and gave little fight. The Bucs called a great game on offense, but their secondary struggled majorly against Dallas. I have the Bucs winning in a blowout. Look for their defense to bounce back this week.

Steph’s Bet: Buccaneers money line VIA FanDuel Sportsbook

Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers 4:25 PM EST

The Cowboys offense looked very good on opening night and Dak might’ve played his best game as the QB of the Cowboys. Their defense turned Brady over a few times, but they lost Demarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory for this game so the pass rush may be limited. The Chargers played a tough game down to the last minute and relied heavily on Justin Herbert and Kennan Allen. I have the Cowboys winning in a shootout.

Steph’s Bet: Cowboys +3 VIA FanDuel Sportsbook

Tennessee Titans vs. Seattle Seahawks 4:25 PM EST

Tennessee fell flat last week against the Cardinals; they couldn’t run the ball and that affects their pass game as their play action is used as their focus point in the offense. Their defense couldn’t get any traction due to turnovers as well. The Seahawks really played a great game, and I loved the play of their D-line which is deep this year. I expect this game to be close and Seattle to win by 1 or 2 points.

Steph’s Bet: Titans covering Titans +6.5 or Seahawks money line VIA FanDuel Sportsbook

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Baltimore Ravens 8:25 PM EST

Kansas City played in a tough game against Cleveland last week and came down till the end. Their offense looks great again, but their defense has flaws like years prior. The Ravens lost a lot of their weapons due to injury and just recently lost corner Marcus Peters, and tackle Ronnie Stanley. They are adjusting on the fly and are going to battle a lot of adversity early this season. I have the Chiefs winning a tight one in a shootout.

Steph’s Bet: Chiefs -3.5 or over 54.5 VIA FanDuel Sportsbook

Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers 8:15 PM EST Monday night

Detroit didn’t play very well on defense, but their offense really shined in the second half against the niners and scored 30+ points against a good defense. The Packers played the worst game I’ve seen from them in quite a while and just couldn’t get anything going. I feel the Packers will have a revenge game from last week and drop 38 points in a blowout.

Steph’s Bet: Green Bay -12.5 VIA FanDuel Sportsbook
