The Penguins continue their busy first day of free agency, signing defenseman, Ryan Graves, to a six-year $27MM contract, earning an average of 4.5MM. Graves is 6 '5 " and 220 lbs. and considered a defensive defenseman that is tough to play against. Graves should slide right into the Brian Dumoulin spot and be able to team up with Kris Letang.
Graves moves the puck well and has a heavy shot from the point. He can be used to shut down the opposition's better players and has continually played more minutes each season.
